Wine Writing for the Savvy Contemporary Consumer

Through my love of the written word, I aim to demystify great wine from the Old World, as well as the New. I hope to encourage adventurous palates, as well as confidence in the average wine-consumer.

I also aim to inform and inspire world-class dining experiences at home! I am passionate about food & wine pairing, both in my career in restaurants and retail, and at home in my kitchen or in cooking with friends. I love the challenge of being presented with a recipe, or list of ingredients, and selecting the perfect wine to accentuate what I find to be most special about the cuisine. Great wine should bolster the flavors, textures, and company of a great meal.

I seek to honor wine as an agricultural—as well as cultural—product, steeped in climates and cultures of the past, present, and what’s to come. I am excited to see what the future of this industry holds, and hope to be a part of honoring its history & traditions for years to come.
